ConnectWe begin by listening and learning what matters to you and your business. There is no charge for this first conversation, and whichever path you choose, it starts here.
We preserve your company’s people, history, and legacy through a professionally produced 30- or 60-minute documentary. We do the research, uncover the stories, and help decide which format serves you best.
Watch our family’s film GrowAn advisory engagement built on listening. We talk with ownership, management and employees, then turn what we hear into clear priorities and a 90-day plan for growth.
How it worksBefore asking others to share their story, we preserved our own.
The Adcroft Family Story · Trailer · 2:50
Directed and edited by Joe Adcroft, whose work includes assignments for Disney, Google, and NASA.
From our own archive — the photographs the film was built from. Tap any one to look closer.
Making the film brought our family closer and saved stories that might otherwise have been lost. That experience became the reason the Adcroft Company exists.
The trailer was just a glimpse. This is the whole story — the complete thirty-minute film, exactly as our family watches it. If you’re deciding whether to trust us with your story, this is the fullest answer we can give.
Every story begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand your family, your business, and the people and moments that made it what it is today.
No charge. No obligation. Just listening.
We dig into your history and research archives, photographs, documents, and family stories to uncover the details that bring your legacy to life.
Archives. Records. Letters. Photographs.
We capture cinematic interviews, meaningful locations, archival materials, and the moments that make your story personal, creating a visual record built to last.
Cinematic. Thoughtful. Unobtrusive.
We bring everything together through editing, archival storytelling, music, and sound, shaping years of history into a film your family can carry forward.
Thirty or sixty minutes. Made to be kept.
We also build the websites that hold these films. Every site is designed around the family or business it belongs to, so no two look alike, and we're glad to work in whatever way best fits the project, from a simple one-page home for a film to a fuller site for the business itself.
Built to host the film. Shaped around you.
What if one of your greatest opportunities for growth is already inside your business?
The Baker’s Dozen is a business advisory engagement built on listening. We sit down with ownership, management and selected employees, the people who see your business from angles you can’t, and learn what’s working, what’s in the way, and where growth is already waiting.
Every conversation is confidential. People speak freely when they know nothing will be traced back to them, and that candor is where the most useful findings come from.
One-on-one conversations across your business, from the owner’s office to the front line.
An experienced outside perspective to find the patterns and strengths that are hard to see from the inside.
Clear priorities and practical recommendations, ready to act on.
A personalized account of the engagement, written for you.
Those priorities turned into concrete steps for the next three months, so the findings become action.
Listen. Understand. Grow.

A family business doesn’t pass on its story by accident. Someone has to write it down, film it, or sit the grandchildren down and tell it. If your family built something, we’d love to hear how it happened.
A few sentences are enough to start. We’d love to hear yours.
